MI & VI MUSIC has been producing musical instruments since 1991, primarily in international markets. Since its inceptions, the violin makers , also known as luthiers, have crafted their violins for decades using old world techniques. You will find no “kits” in the workshops of MI & VI MUSIC. We are proud to have an award-winning luthier crafting our instruments. From our hand-finished classical instruments which you can easily purchase in the online store: Violins, violas and cellos and all the accessories you will need.

It would be easy for us here at MI & VI MUSIC to have our luthiers begin making violins from a kit. Our production would increase and we could probably sell more violins, therefore boosting our profits. Yet we have chosen a different route. We care about young people and others who want to learn to play stringed instruments. We don’t want to stick them with an inferior instrument that plays so poorly that they are turned off from playing altogether. We want student to succeed. We want them to love music. And so we build the best instruments for them. 

We believe those instruments are like those built long ago in the Old World. Back then, each instrument was practically loved into being. The whole process of carving the wood, all the way to finishing it and curing it, was done with respect and care for the beautiful instrument that they were producing. We have tried to cultivate the same atmosphere here at MI & VIMUSIC.
